The
Handbell Choir of Finley Memorial Presbyterian Church was formed in
1983 following the donation of two octaves of Schulmerich handbells
given by Christine Shipp and family in memory of James Shipp. With a
recent addition, the Handbell Choir now rings three octaves of Schulmerich handbells during worship services and presents an annual
Christmas concert in late December. This group of
volunteers from the Finley family and surrounding community
currently meets on Tuesdays, 6:30p-8:30p, from September through
December and February through May.
Anyone with
handbell experience seeking to join a choir or substitute ring, or
anyone interested in learning to ring is encouraged to contact the
